The Strategic Business Unit Consumers, Craftsmen and Building adhesives (AC) provides high-quality solutions for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings to a wide target group ranging from consumers to professional craftsmen, and markets a wide range of brand name products, like Perfax, Pritt, Pattex, Loctite and Rubson.

What we offer

  • Part of the Benelux Marketing Team with responsibility for the relevant brand portfolio.
  • Creation of the yearly strategic brand plans based on the regionally developed plans; define gaps and develop local initiatives to cover.
  • Realization of the brand objectives and formulation and implementation of the marketing mix of strategic and operational elements.
  • Development and launch of new concepts.
  • Development and initiation of media, promotions and PR-plans
  • Packaging development; development of POS-materials
  • Market researching and consumer insights to make profound analysis of the market; aligned with the regional team.
  • Develop convincing business cases to support local development.
  • Follow-up of turnover achievements; cost and margin control.
  • Competitive analysis and evaluation
  • Management of the marketing budget
  • Deliver the necessary local input to RSU (regional marketing team) and challenge them in case of specific local needs.
  • Internal communication with sales, customer marketing and demand planning to ensure timely delivery of marketing plans and also externally with agencies and suppliers.

Who we are looking for

  • University level degree in Economics or Marketing (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience with a proven track record of developing and implementing commercially successful marketing strategies and programs.
  • Strong experience with marketing as a communications tool, both internal and external.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
