Electrical Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Senior Site Engineer. As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production.  

The key challenges will include:

  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Progress and conduct the preventative electrical maintenance for the plant
  • Support and take part in planned engineering projects
  • Conduct inspection and testing of equipment
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement methodology
  • Support and promote engineering initiatives
  • Undertake troubleshooting and maintenance improvement activities
  • Work closely with suppliers and contractors
  • Complete compulsory training provided by the company such as Confined Space, FLT, MEWP, Telehandler and COMPEX.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • You will have a recognised Electrical qualification (minimum C&G236, NVQ3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in industrial control fault finding

  • A strong focus on health and safety

It would be great if you:

  • Held a COMPEX certificate

  • Has previous experience working within a Petro Chemical environment
