Regional Market Strategy Manager Industrial Assembly & Functional Coating (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE 

  • Understand and evaluate segments for sizing markets, gather and analyze customer needs within the segment, and identify existing and potential opportunities
  • Analyze industry trends to assess the factors that define the market segment strategy
  • Perform competitive analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of Henkel as it pertains to applications within the market segment
  • Develop regional market segment/sub-segment strategy and go-to market plan that could be executed by the regional teams
  • Drive innovation based on market needs identified through Voice of the Customer (VoC)
  • Drive key strategic initiatives (KSIs) regionally by working closely with global and regional commercial and technical teams (TCS)
  • Identify inorganic growth opportunities (partnerships, M&A) to drive top line growth
  • Employ customer segmentation models to identify key accounts and for further development and nurturing
  • Drive programs to establish a channel strategy that improves profitability and ensure bottom-line margins
  • Develop industry content for marketing programs to support regional market and customer activation
  • Define marketing communication strategies to roll-out new products and technologies
  • Identify and assess white spaces and adjacent opportunities

YOUR SKILLS 

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering; MBA preferred
  • 4 years of industrial strategic marketing experience or equivalent
  • Previous sales management experience in the field of adhesives and sealants and KAM, experience with sales and profitability analysis and defining requisite corrective actions
  • Project management and strategic planning experience including the delivery and target achievement of large scale activities; evidence of control, monitoring and review
  • Strong technical experience
  • Previous application of goal setting, target achievement and/or review
  • Technological/market know-how
  • Ability to manage negotiations at a senior level and influence decision making process
  • People management, leadership skills
  • Experience of working with different support functions and building internal relationships
  • Experience of dealing with people at different levels of seniority
  • Fluent English skills
